IDM legend Aphex Twin is playing a show in New York City for the first time this century.

The artist behind Selected Ambient Works hasn’t managed to make it to New York City since the ’90s, in spite of consistently releasing music. Richard D. James will bring his incredibly solid back catalog across the pond for a stop at Brooklyn’s Avant Gardner on April 11.

While it’s James’ first time in the Big Apple in forever, he’s not as stingy with other North American locales. Twin will also perform at Toluca, Mexico’s Festival Ceremonia on April 6 along with other legends like Massive Attack. The Mexican fest also features some beloved newer acts like Jon Hopkins, Kaytranada, DJ Koze and Rosalia.

Aphex is also part of the stacked lineup at Coachella. The producer will stop in Indio after the New York gig, performing on April 13 and 20 at the fest.

Presale for the prized tickets starts this Wednesday, January 16. Take a look at the link below via Aphex’s Twitter, complete with an awesome Aphex X NYC poster.
