Arctic Monkeys Tour

Arctic Monkeys have a lot going on these days. They’re on tour, they just announced that their new album, AM, will be released on September 9 in the United Kingdom and September 10 in the U.S. via Domino Records, and also that there will be a handful of shows to promote it. Tacked onto the end of their European tour, Arctic Monkeys will hit stages in all over North America this fall. These dates start September 15 in Toronto, ON; and move on to Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Austin (for Austin City Limits Festival), and more, with a final show in Mexico City for the Corona Capital Festival on October 13. Want to see them in action? Tickets for most shows go on sale Friday, June 28.

It’s hard to believe that Arctic Monkeys has been a band for over a decade, given how young the members are, but their influence is far-reaching. This new album is their first since 2011’s Suck It and See, though the band did release a brand new song this past February, entitled “R U Mine?” (see video below). This year, Arctic Monkeys are back in action, headlining Glastonbury Festival and playing in festivals such as Free Press Summer Fest, Hultsfred Festival, and Austin City Limits Festival.
