The dates for this year’s Austin City Limits Festival may already be set in scheduled stone, but next year’s events are promising to be a whole different, expanded affair. The 2013 October concert series is tentatively scheduled for both October 4-6 and October 11-13, with performances spread over the course of two weekends instead of just the one. Trendsetting Coachella may have something to do with the change, as the festival also recently expanded (among other shakeups). Officially, in exchange for being allowed to increase its number of dates, festival producer C3 Presents has agreed to donate more money to Austin’s local parks.
