The B-52s have announced a world tour to celebrate their 40th anniversary as a band. The oddball “Love Shack” hitmakers will hit the road and stay there through the entire summer, bringing Top Gun soundtrack stars Berlin and Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark along for some of their American stops.

The tour kicks off on May 4 at West Palm Beach’s Sunfest. It runs through European festival season and comes back to the States for a slew of theater gigs before closing out at Central Park Summerstage in New York City on September 24.

The band also announced a documentary courtesy of comedian Fred Armisen, but they seemed most excited just to get back on the road.

“Who knew that when we played our first house dance party in Athens, Georgia in 1976 that we would be still be rocking the house in 2019?” vocalist Kate Pierson said in a press release about the tour.

“Woo-hoo! Europe and then all over North America! Dust off those go-go boots and shine your dancing shoes because the B-52s are coming!” singer Fred Schneider added.
