Baauer Announces North American Tour with Boys Noize
Electronic dance maestro Baauer is hitting the road throughout the US and Canada with German DJ Boys Noize. The guys will kick things off at SOMA in San Diego on October 2. They’ll then head up the west coast, eventually making their way to Vancouver on October 10 and Seattle on October 12. From there, they’ll make their way through the Midwest, ending up in the Southwest with a show in Albuquerque on October 24 followed by a series of shows through Texas. They’ll play Republic New Orleans in New Orleans on October 30 and then hit Florida, playing Orlando on October 31 and closing out the tour at the Filmore on Miami on November 1.
Based in Brooklyn, Baauer (born Harry Bauer Rodrigues) has been released singles and remixes since 2011. His most famous, of course, being 2012’s “Harlem Shake,” which became an Internet meme/sensation/public nuisance in 2013. Boys Noize (AKA Alexander Ridha) has been a leading artist in the electronic music scene for nearly a decade; he’s released five full albums, nearly 20 EP, and countless singles and remixes.
