Ballyhoo! Finishing up Warped Tour then Back on the Road
Ballyhoo! has announced a U.S. tour which will run from the end of August through September. The shows get underway after the reggae-rockers finish up their stint on the Van’s Warped Tour, and includes dates with fellow reggae group, Tribal Seeds. The tour will begin on Aug. 20 in Ocean City, MD, and ends on Sept. 29 in Austin, TX, with many stops in the Midwest and the South throughout. The remaining Warped Tour shows will finish on Aug. 5 in Portland, OR. That’ll give these guys just a small window of rest before heading back out on the road. Ah, the life of a rock n’ roller.
Ballyhoo! got their start in 2006 with their release of the album Do it for the Money!. In 2009 they released a follow-up album, Cheers!, on which they were given an opportunity to work with 311’s Scotch Ralston as the producer. Their most recent work, Daydreams, was released on Sept. 6, 2011, and is their first album on the Law Records label.
