UPDATE 10/16/2012

Band of Horses have added even more dates to their growing fall – and now winter – tour. The latest series of shows picks up where their October performances leave off, beginning in early November and lasting through January. Jason Lytle will act as support throughout December. UPDATE

With the Railroad Revival Tour having been cancelled, Band of Horses have decided to perform new headlining shows in the cities affected by the cancellations. Originally slated for October 20 to October 28, the new dates have the band performing October 21 to October 28 in New Orleans, Memphis, Tulsa, Houston, Tempe, San Pedro and Oakland.

In anticipation of their latest release, Mirage Rock, Band of Horses will embark on an international tour this fall. The group’s fourth studio effort drops September 18, 10 days after the Seattle musicians begin their worldwide trek. Spanning the globe from London to Perth, the band has scheduled performances into the early days of the new year.

These latest shows are in addition to the Railroad Revival Tour, which sees Band of Horses performing alongside legendary country singer Willie Nelson. Despite several lineup changes since the ensemble’s inception back in 2004, BOH has continued to grow in popularity among the indie alt-rock set. Their last album, Infinite Arms, was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Alternative Album category.
