UPDATE

Barbra Streisand is casting a wider net for her fall tour into November. An announcement last week provided details for new shows in Las Vegas on November 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in San Jose at the HP Pavilion on November 5 and in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl on November 9.

The musical legend is embarking on a substantial tour beginning this October in Philadelphia and Brooklyn and hitting other major cities across the country and into Canada.

Tickets for the new shows go on sale to the general public as follows: Las Vegas (September 21), San Jose (September 24) and Los Angeles (September 24).

Ms. Streisand last toured in 2011 while promoting her 33rd studio album, What Matters Most. For a lesser artist, 33 albums would mark a staggering achievement – but for everyone’s favorite Funny Girl, they’re merely another notch (and a less shiny one at that) on a career belt heavy with Tonys, Grammys, Emmys, and Oscars.
