It’s been a while since indie math-rock band Battles have toured. And it’s been a really long time since they’ve released a full-length album, with the epic Gloss Drop having been released just over four years ago. Luckily, all that is about to change. Early last year the band confirmed that they’ve begun work on a new album, and now they’ve just announced a large world tour.

Of the tour dates, a large chunk are taking place in North America, kicking off with a show in their hometown of New York City, at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn on August 20. The band will hit up all the major cities throughout the U.S.–Portland, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New Orleans, etc.–which includes stops at FYF Festival and MusicfestNW. The U.S. leg of shows wraps up similarly to how it began, with a show at Webster Hall in NYC on October 20. Check below for the full itinerary.
