The Bay-area based band Beats Antique have announced a small string of shows slated for April and May. The mini-tour will see the eclectic band – who blend experimental world fusion and electronic music – throughout the East Coast and Mid-atlantic area of the United States, as well as some one-off performances in the West or overseas. The fun kicks off on April 20, with a show at The Midtown Bend in Bend, OR. After that it’s off to Music City (that’s Nashville, you uncultured fools!), for a show at The Cannery on the 25th. You can also catch this funky trio during a two-night stint at Brooklyn Bowl, in Brooklyn, NY, on May 4 & 5.
Besides the aforementioned gigs, Beats Antique will also head overseas on Mrch 16 for a performance at London’sThe Coronet. They’ve also confirmed their participation in this year’s Electric Forest Festival in Rothbury, MI, which falls over June 27-30. Check out their latest album, Contraption Vol. 2, which was released last year on Antique Records.
