It’s hard to hold Cage the Elephant and Beck in your head at the same time. Beck’s freaked out experiments and Cage’s radio-friendly skeeze rock don’t sound like they come from the same universe, but they will share a stage all summer as part of their 30-date Night Running Tour.

The tour grew out of a collaboration between the two artists on Cage’s upcoming album Social Cues. And the tour is something of an unlikely friends roadshow with Spoon, Sunflower Bean, Wild Belle and Starcrawler showing up as support.

The tour starts on July 11 at Ridgefield’s Sunlight Supply Amphitheater, followed by stops in California and Texas. Texas shows include Austin, Dallas and Houston. They’ll head to the Midwest, Eastern Seaboard and Southeast, culminating in an August 30 show in West Palm Beach, FL at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre.
