Ben Harper Expands Fall Acoustic Tour
UPDATE
With the news this week of the pending release on October 16 of “By My Side,” a career spanning retrospective, also comes the start today of the first solo acoustic tour for Ben Harper. We gave you the details back in July for the U.S. leg of the tour, but Harper has recently expanded the tour to include dates in New Zealand and Australia.
In November, Harper will play shows in Wellington, Auckland, Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne and four shows at the Concert Hall at the Sydney Opera House. Tickets for the U.S. shows have been on sale and the tickets for New Zealand and Australia are on sale as well. For the first time in his career, Ben Harper will be taking his show on the road in the form of a headlining acoustic tour. According to his website, fans have been clamoring for this for quite some time and now they are finally getting their wish.
The show will feature songs from throughout his career and will take Harper to cities such as Ann Arbor, Chicago, Montreal, Philadelphia, Boston and will be highlighted by Harper’s show at none other than Carnegie Hall on October 10, the last show of the tour.
