Taking control of her own hype (as she should!), Beyonce has leaked a video of her dancers rehearsing for her upcoming Super Bowl halftime show performance. The “Countdown to Touchdown” clip is an all-too-brief look at ridiculously talented men and women dancing to, appropriately enough, Beyonce’s song “Countdown.” Hopefully more insider looks are on the way:

Us Weekly has revealed new details surrounding Beyonce’s Super Bowl setlist – and it’s looking like a Destiny’s Child lovefest.

The magazine reports Bey intends to open the show with a solo rendition of “Crazy In Love.” Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams will then join in, performing a medley of the trio’s hits, with “Bills, Bills, Bills” (their opening number) and “Survivor” definitely making the cut. Destiny’s Child will reportedly close with their new single, “Nuclear.

In the wake of Beyonce’s Presidential Inauguration lip-syncing scandal/transgression/over-blown controversy, Us Weekly’s chatty source alleges the singer “can’t wait to knock ’em dead” come February 3.

As many of you probably know by now, the big news coming out of last week surrounding Beyonce’s halftime performance at the Super Bowl on February 3 will be that Destiny’s Child will be reunited on stage at the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans. It will be the first time the ’90s girl group has performed together since February 2006, when they performed at the NBA All Star Game.

Having just released a new song together entitled “Nuclear” and a retrospective album of “the most sensual and romantic recordings” from their career entitled Love Songs coming on January 29, the trio will perform a medley of their hits before Beyonce closes her set with a new song of her own.

In other news, the full trailer for Beyonce’s upcoming HBO documentary Life is But A Dream was released as well. Check out the video below.

Destiny’s Child: “Nuclear”

With all the Super Bowl news surrounding Beyonce, comes additional news that will put her in the spotlight and keep her busy throughout the early months of 2013.

A big performance for Jay-Z’s better half was announced today. She will be center stage performing the National Anthem at President Barack Obama’s second inauguration later this month. This will not be the first time she has performed for the President as she performed at one of the Inaugural Balls back in 2009.

In other news, especially news for the fellas, Beyonce was revealed to be on the cover of GQ’s “100 Sexiest Women of the 21st Century” issue, set to hit newsstands on January 15. All of this while celebrating Blue Ivy’s first birthday. Check out the cover photo below and enjoy.

Adding another interesting twist to what is sure to be a huge halftime performance, Beyonce announced that 100 fans will join her on stage to dance. Pepsi, the official sponsor of Beyonce’s halftime show and her next worldwide tour, revealed that 100 lucky fans will win the chance to join Mrs. Carter when she performs on February 3 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

According to Pollstar, the contest calls for fans “to submit photos of themselves in various poses, including shouting, sporting shades, head bopping, feet tapping and hip shaking. The pictures will then be used in a TV ad introducing Beyoncé’s halftime performance, and 50 people – along with a friend – will be selected to join the singer onstage.”

Pretty cool if you ask me. Maybe we’ll see you on TV on February 3?

Well, it was only a matter of time before someone got the bright idea to splash her refreshingly natural beauty all over a soda can. According to the New York Times, Beyonce has signed a $50 million promo deal with Pepsi, in which the softdrink company and proud sponsor of the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show will sell a number of limited-edition, Beyonce-adorned cans. After the singer does her thing midway through the biggest televised event of the year, she’ll appear in a Pepsi commercial. In return, Pepsi will sponsor both her next tour and a multi-million dollar fund for unspecified “creative projects.” Bey’s camp is keeping mum on just what form her creativity might take next (we’re still loving her Tumblr), but we’ll be sure to keep you posted as more details crop up.

The new year is promising to bring (even more) big things for new mother Beyonce, so The Dream tells Rolling Stone. Apparently, one of the hardest-working grande dames in showbiz is gearing up to reveal new music before her hotly anticipated Super Bowl halftime show. She will “definitely” be ready, the producer assures us. “I’m sure there will probably be a couple records you hear before the Super Bowl gets here.”

We’re all for that, although whether Beyonce’s new material will take the form of club-ready, grrrl-heavy anthems in the vein of “Run the World,” or more subdued ballads fit for babygirl Blue Ivy’s bedtime, remains to be seen. We’ll have all the latest tracks as Bey releases them, but while you wait, take a look at this teaser trailer for the diva’s autobiographical documentary airing on HBO February 16:

The Super Bowl halftime show just got a whole lot younger. In recent years, the halftime show of the biggest sporting event of the year has featured The Rolling Stones (2006), Prince (2007), Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers (2008), Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band (2009), The Who (2010), The Black Eyed Peas (2011) and Madonna (2012). With the exception of The Black Eyed Peas in 2011, the performers have been a bit on the older side. But not this year.

It was announced today that Beyonce would be the headlining act for the 2013 Super Bowl, set to take place on February 3, 2013 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. Speculation is already starting about what 5 songs she will perform during her set. Possibly a Destiny’s Child reunion? Or a collaboration with beau Jay-Z? She has a ton of solo material to pull from – with smash hits such as “Crazy in Love,” “Baby Boy,” “Single Ladies,” “Halo,” and “Love On Top” to name just a few. We’re anxious to see!

As for Super Bowl tickets (you know we had to add this in of course), tickets for the Super Bowl on the secondary market start out at $2,329 per ticket and go as high as five figures for premium seating. Check out the link below for details. We’ll have the best deals on all 2013 Super Bowl tickets, so check it out.
