If you couldn’t make any of Beyoncé’s “Mrs. Carter” tour last year (or can’t afford tickets for her and husband Jay-Z’s current “On the Run” tour), than we have got some good news for you. HBO has just announced that they’ll be partnering with the former Destiny’s Child lead singer for a ten-episode concert mini-series featuring footage from her 2013 world tour. And when we say mini-series, we mean MINI. Each episode will only run about four minutes and air on the premium cable channel Sunday night, starting June 29, just before True Blood — which has just kicked off its final season and has gone all Walking Dead-wannabe with zombie vampires (we wish were kidding).
Legally christened Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, but known to us all by just her first name. Beyoncé is without a doubt one of the greatest and most popular musical artists alive today. Since going solo in the mid-2000s from one of best-selling modern R&B groups, Beyoncé has released five critically-praised and commercially successful album, selling over 118 million records worldwide, and earned over a dozen Grammys as a solo artist. Everything she does is perfect. If you don’t love her, then the Beygency will come for you.
