Big Time Rush Tour

America loves a good boy band. Even better? America loves a good TV show about a boy band (see also: O-Town, The Monkees and The Jonas Brothers). It should come as no surprise then that the brainchild of Scott Fellows and the Nickelodeon network, the band Big Time Rush, has been hugely successful since the show’s debut in 2009. Fans (“Rushers,” in fact) of BTR’s Carlos Pena, Jr., James Maslow, Kendall Schmidt and Logan Henderson should be excited (big time) for the Los Angeles natives’s upcoming US tour this summer. The guys will be hitting the road with their friend and fellow Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice in tow; Rushers can expect to hear, sing and dance along with some of the band’s new music.

True to its name, the “Summer Break” tour will span most of the summer and cover all of North America. The tour will kick off in the band’s hometown at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk on June 21 with additional California stops in Del Mar and Concord. BTR and Victoria will make a counter clockwise trek through the country with late-June stops in Phoenix at the Desert Sky Pavilion, Dallas, TX at the Gexa Energy Pavilion and in Oklahoma City at the Chesapeake Energy Arena. July will be the most active month of the tour with almost nightly stops in cities such as Atlanta, West Palm Beach at the Cruzan Amphitheatre, and Charlotte, NC. East Coast Rushers can catch BTR’s gigs at Camden, NJ’s Susquehanna Bank Center, in Hershey, PA at the Hersheypark Stadium, in Baltimore at the Pier Six Pavilion, and in Saratoga Springs. The tour will wind down in August with stops in Columbus, OH and Cincinnati, OH with a final show in Milwaukee at Riverside Theatre.
