Earlier this year, ’90s rockers Big Wreck reunited after a 10-year hiatus. Now, they’ve come back together to release an album (Albatross, which came out in March), and have just announced they will be touring Canada this fall. The tour begins on November 16 in Halifax, with stops in Quebec City, Winnipeg and Saskatoon. They’ll also perform eight shows throughout Ontario, and make multiple stops in Alberta and British Columbia. The tour wraps up on December 18 in Vancouver.

Big Wreck began in 1994 as part of the ’90s grunge movement, after members Ian Thornley, Brian Doherty, Dave Henning, and Forrest Williams met at Boston’s Berklee College of Music. After playing small shows around Boston for several years, the band finally signed to a major label in 1997 and released their first studio album, In Loving Memory Of… to much commercial success. Their sophomore record, The Pleasure and the Greed, was released four years later to poor reviews, and the band broke up a year later. After frontmen Thornley and Doherty rekindled their friendship in 2010, the band reformed and released Albatross shortly thereafter. The album peaked at No. 5 on the Canadian charts, a record for Big Wreck.
