It’s been two years since Bill Callahan last took to the open road and serenaded a few thousands fans along the way, but luckily for diehard Calla-heads, the influential singer/guitarist is back and strummin’. Callahan has scheduled just a few dates for this upcoming April 30-May 11, although hopefully his time spent in Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas will leave him less than satisfied, itching to book even more shows – along either coast? – through the summer.
Along similar speculative lines, word on the blogoshpere is the former Smog frontman will use his latest touring opportunity to debut some new material. Callahan’s last record, Apocalypse, dropped in 2011, to positive reviews. The multitalented artist has also previously penned an epistolary novel, Letters to Emma Bowlcut, and has seen several of his songs appear in films, most notably “Cold Blooded Old Times” in the 2000 cult classic High Fidelity.
Don’t miss out on your chance to hear some of Callahan’s own classic tracks, and those whispered new works, on his upcoming tour. We’ve got a few discount links below, but be sure to check here when more tickets become available!
