Beginning at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum Crawfish Festival in Biloxi, Mississippi, Currington’s tour will take him through Jackson, Mississippi; Concord, North Carolina; Oshkosh, Wisconsin; Los Angeles, California; Springfield, Illinois; and Mount Morris, Michigan. Even though country heartthrob Currington got his start writing music when he was only twelve years old, his climb to the top of the American country charts took a little bit longer than that. After high school, Currington made a few attempts to move to Nashville (as most aspiring country singers do) to get his foot in the proverbial door. He landed a job at a concrete company, working on song demos and playing in clubs on the side.
