Brother Ali & Immortal Technique Tour

The underground is on the road this fall: rap veterans Brother Ali and Immortal Technique are teaming up for an autumn tour dubbed “War And Peace”. The tour kicked off on September 5 in Redway, California, and future stops include gigs in Tempe, Arizona; Denver, Colorado; Omaha, Nebraska; Covington, Kentucky; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Boston, Massachusetts; and New Haven, Connecticut, to name a few, with a final date in Burlington, Vermont at Higher Ground. Brother Ali (born Jason Newman) is currently signed to Rhymesayers Entertainment, and he’s said that he finds most of his inspiration in the rappers and rap groups of the late 1980s, including Rakim and KRS-One. Immortal Technique (also known as Felipe Andres Coronel) was born in Lima, Peru and raised in New York City’s Harlem neighborhood. His lyrics focus on real issues like class struggles, Marxism, povery, racism, and more.
