Bryan Adams has announced that he will embark on a tour of Australia for the first time
since 2005. The Grammy Award-winning singer will head to the land down under on April 18 with a show in Wollongong, and in total will perform six shows on the tour, including stops in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Newcastle. The final show takes place on April 27 in Brisbane at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. All of Adams’ past Aussie tours have sold out, so be sure to snag tickets as soon as they go on sale.
Throughout his 35-year long career, Bryan Adams has received a slew of awards and accolades which have cemented him as one of the world’s best rock singers. He’s been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, has received 20 Juno Awards, and has been nominated for 15 Grammys. Adams is also known for his philanthropic efforts, and has been given the Order of Canada and Order of British Columbia as recognition for this type of work. His most recent studio album, 11, was released in 2008, to mixed reviews.
