Cattle Decapitation, a death-metal band from San Diego, CA, has announced a winter tour. Joining the rockers on the road will be bands Dying Fetus, Six Feet Under and Wretched, for varying dates. The tour begins on November 2 in Richmond, VA, and runs through December 13, with the final show in Boise, ID. Cattle Decapitation will make stops throughout North America, with several New York, Illinois, Texas, and California dates. The band is touring in support of their 10th album, Monolith of Inhumanity.

When Cattle Decapitation began in 1996, their songs served as a way to protest animal mistreatment and environmental abuse. Through graphic lyrics and music video imagery, the band aims to drive home the concept of putting humans in situations that animals are subjected to – i.e. animal testing and slaughter. Their most recent album received positive reviews, receiving three out four stars from Allmusic.
