Caveman Tour

Cool-headed and mysterious, indie-rockers Caveman have just announced their 2013 USA & Canada tour. Their debut album, Coco Beware, released last November, showcased the Brooklynites‘ unique, hypnotic, indie-pop sound mixed with their moody yet somehow inviting lyrics. Their unique airy fun sound can be attributed to their extraordinary guitar capabilities. All of the band’s guitars are handmade by one of the group’s two guitarists, Jimmy Carbonetti. Yes, that’s right, I said it, HANDMADE. As we all know, bands ain’t what they used to be, so this is a music rarity that we must hold on to and not let go! Caveman will be touring in all major US cities as well as performing two shows in Canada. Starting out Feb 26th, they’ll visit Café Nine in New Haven, CT, and end up at Johnny Brenda’s in Philly, PA, on April 11th.

Last November, the world was introduced to the New York natives who have nothing but pride for the city in which they have lived their whole lives. In an interview with Spinner.com, drummer, Stefan Marolachakis, gushes, “For me, it’s basically all positive. We’re kind of obsessed with our hometown. We basically spend a lot of our days walking around trying to soak it up, trying to see as much as possible. I’ve lived here my whole life so it’s really exciting. And the response we’ve been getting from our hometown, it’s really lovely.” Aww, New York loves you too, guys! The band had the opportunity to play at SXSW and CMJ festivals this year. Their music has found its way into the hearts of underground music lovers nationwide, with fans all over taking to their unique and unpredictable hooks and loops. We are all excited for the announcement of a sophomore LP set to be released in the spring.
