CeeLo Green Tunes Up For Vegas For Show With Friends

CeeLo Green is going to be a busy man through the holidays into 2013. With the already announced “Loberace” residency set to kick off February 2013 at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, he revealed plans for a “CeeLo & Friends” show on October 10 at The Showroom at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
The show is slated to feature confirmed appearances by Rod Stewart and The Muppets, who both appear on Green’s first holiday album “CeeLo’s Magic Moment, set to be released on October 30.
The new Vegas action comes as CeeLo Green is currently in the middle of another season of “The Voice,” where he will be replaced by Usher next year as he embarks on his residency.

This August Cee-Lo Green was scheduled to kick off his extensive Vegas residency entitled “Loberace” at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. However, due to scheduling conflicts with his responsibilities for “The Voice,” the soul man has been forced to push back the residency to February, March and April of next year.
In a statement in the press release on his website (link above), Green states, “It’s always been a dream of mine to be among the great music legends who have had a Las Vegas residency and I was very much looking forward to launching ‘Loberace’ this year. But, as we move into the third season of The Voice, with my dedicated commitment to the filming schedule and love for my role on the show, I will need to postpone the opening of ‘Loberace’ to early 2013. Most importantly, to all my fans who have already purchased tickets, please accept my sincerest apology and I hope you can still join me in Vegas next year, so I can properly and finally introduce you to my brainchild, ‘Loberace’! Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
The residency will now kick off on February 27 and go through April 13.
As for tickets, fans who purchased tickets for the original dates can exchange them for a new date in 2013 or get a full refund. Tickets for the new shows go on sale August 1.

A Vegas Run for Cee-Lo Green, Get Your Tickets
The Lady Killer is setting up shop in Sin City. Cee-Lo Green is taking his colorful, eccentric live show to Vegas and taking up residency at Planet Hollywood in the back half of 2012.
“Cee-Lo Green Presents Loberace” is destined to be a hot ticket.

After a hugely successful 2011, with the smash hit “Forget You” and his run as a current judge and mentor on NBC’s “The Voice,” Cee-Lo is taking his game to another level with the show.
Tickets have yet to be announced but the show dates are as follows: August 29-31, September 1, 5-8, 12-15, 19-22, 26-29, November 30, December 1, 7-8, 14-15, and 28-29.
