Soul Singer Charles Bradley Reveals Spring/Summer Dates

With a nickname like “The Screaming Eagle of Soul,” you know not to mess around with Charles Bradley. The soul singer, born in 1948, is still just as funky as ever, and he’s coming to a city near you. Bradley has just announced plans for a new record and an upcoming tour. In fact, the singer has been touring nonstop since 2011, and his upcoming jaunt will see him on the road from March to June. The tour kicks off on March 21, with a show in Savannah, GA, at Trustee’s Theatre. He’ll also make stops in Asheville, NC; Dallas, TX; and New York, NY. On April 27, Bradley will perform at the New Orleans Jazz Fest, followed by a show at One Eyed Jacks the following day.

The last two dates on his extensive tour schedule will see the singer overseas: On June 15 he will play at the Bergen International Festival in Bergen, NO, and the following day you can catch him at the Norwegian Wood Fest in Oslo, NO. Check out his new record, Victim of Love, when it’s released on April 2 via Daptone Records.
