Update 8/25/15
Although the second leg of their tour has them traveling through October 10, the Charli and Jack Do America tour won’t be performing any of their upcoming fall dates. Due to “personal reasons,” Charli XCX has pulled out from the run of shows, saying: “These personal reasons include the fact that I need to be creative. Artists tour for a really really long time and I have been on the road for a while now, probably not as long as some, but for me it feels like an eternity. I am struggling to create whilst I’m on the road and that is making me unhappy.” Hmm… anybody else thinking what I’m thinking? It’s called a job. And sometimes, your job sucks. But you have to do it. Despite the absurd excuse, the class act Jack Antonoff says he has no hard feelings toward Charli, and he will use his surprise time off to get back to the studio. Cancelled tour dates shown below.

Update 6/8/15
As we predicted, another leg of tour dates for the joint Bleachers / Charli XCX tour have been announced. The second set of shows begins on September 14 in Boston, MA, at the House of Blues, followed by performances throughout the Eastern Seaboard for the rest of the month. On October 1 the musicians’ will make several stops around the Midwest, culminating in their final show on October 10 at the Complex in Salt Lake City, UT. Updated dates below!

Jack Antonoff is certainly taking advantage of his current time off from band fun. The guitarist has kept busy playing frontman for his solo project, Bleachers, as well as penning tunes with Taylor Swift. Now the 31-year-old New Jersey native has announced a joint tour with pop singer/songwriter Charli XCX.

The tour kicks off on July 21 in San Diego, CO, at the Observatory North Park, and wraps up on August 12 in Columbus, OH, at the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion. This first round of dates take place mainly in the West Coast and Midwest, so let’s keep our fingers crossed for future announcements. Full tour date info below.
