Maybe it’s the flames at the center of his new music video, but we can’t help but feel like Charlie Puth is cooking something up. The reliable hit-maker just shared a clip for the new song “I Warned Myself” and we’ve been suitably put on alert for a new album and possible tour.

Puth hasn’t announced any tour dates just yet, but we have to imagine that the “See You Again” singer will hit the road shortly after whatever album he releases next. And it seems that new album is visible on the horizon. Puth only just dropped his last album Voicenotes in May 2018. And he joked earlier this year on Instagram, using a FaceApp-aged photo of himself, that he would be an octogenarian before we heard any new music from him. However, studio pics with Benny Blanco and Quincy Jones made it clear that Puth is hard at work on something and the new track confirms that he’s got something up his sleave.

We expect to know more about Puth’s plans in coming weeks, as it’s unlikely that he’ll let the heat around “I Warned Myself” die down without sharing a bit more info. In the meanwhile, fans can catch him at the upcoming Music Midtown Festival in Atlanta.
