Gold Panda Tour

UK producer Gold Panda (also known as Derwin Powers, which is also a bad-ass name) has just unleashed the second track off his forthcoming sophomore album entitled Half of Where You Live. The single, “We Work Nights,” is totally dance ready, with plenty of drums, horns and more. To promote this new burst of music, Gold Panda also expanded his world tour to add a North American leg beginning this fall. Starting in Atlanta, Gold Panda will move to Austin, Tucson, San Francisco, Portland, Vancouver, Seattle, and New York (to name a few), with a final show in the “City of Brotherly Love,” Philadelphia. Hope you’re ready to dance your pants off, North America!

Half of Where You Live is due out on June 11th via Ghostly International and NOTOWN, Gold Panda‘s own label. Fun facts about Gold Panda: born in London and raised in Chelmsford, Essex, Panda lived in Japan for a time and studied at the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. Must be the inspiration behind his global beats!
