Moody Blues Tour

Feeling a little moody? Sad? Happy? Angry? Well, it’s a good thing! The Moody Blues have recently announced dates for a U.S. tour running from September to November of this year. The tour kicks off in Louisville, Kentucky before moving through Cincinnati, Ohio; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Des Moines, Iowa; Park City, Utah; Denver, Colorado; San Francisco, California; and culminating at a show at the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California. Are you tired from all those dates? Because we sure are.

This two-month tour promotes the release of a brand-new boxed set of the band on June 25. Spanning The Moody Blues‘ entire career, the 17-disc (yes, we said 17) set (called Timeless Flight) includes 11 CDs, six DVDs, and a slew of other Moody Blues goodies. It will be a veritable smorgasbord of remastered album tracks, unreleased mixes, outtakes, live recordings, RV appearances, promotional videos, unreleased concert footage, and more. Don’t have a bazillion dollars to blow on a 17-disc set? No worries – for those of us who aren’t Rockefellers (or who are just cheap), a four-disc version of the set will also be released.
