Cherub Tour

They’re no angels, but electro-pop duo Cherub made quite the splash at Lollapalooza this year. Taking advantage of this momentum, the pair (Jordan Kelley and Jason Huber, just so you know) have just announced plans for a North American tour to take place this fall. In support of their most recent release, the 100 Bottles EP, Cherub will play shows in Houston, Texas; Lawrence, Kansas; Lincoln, Nebraska; Ann Arbor, Michigan; Toronto, Ontario; Seattle, Washington; and Fort Collins, Colorado, to name a few. The final show of the tour will be November 1 at Fox Theatre in Boulder, Colorado. Support for the tour includes stints by Young The Giant, Pell, French Horn Rebellion, and more.

According to their own website, Cherub is a “sexy electro-pop duo that is the dance love-child of 80’s funk and pop music from the future.” Now that’s a mouthful. In reality, Cherub is known for their high-energy shows and infectious sound. Things have been picking up for the duo as of late, with stops at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Governor’s Ball, Wakarusa, and more all on the docket. Their “Doses and Mimosas” hit No. 1 on Hype Machine’s “most talked about songs” chart in August 2012.
