Chris Stapleton never asked to be the standard bearer of the “right” kind of country. The bearded belter just made excellent, emotional country music and a conflicted, conservative Country Music Association crowned them their de facto king.

If you need any evidence that Stapleton — for all the throwback savior narratives built around him — is looking firmly toward the future of country music, look no further than the lineup of his latest All-American Road Show. Stapleton will be joined by Margo Price and the Marcus King Band with occasional appearances by Brothers Osborne and Brent Cobb.

Stapleton starts off the tour on July 9 but that doesn’t mean he’s resting. He’s staying busy pre-tour with a small-scale show in Los Angeles, skipping over to Europe for a series of arena shows and then back-to-back shows at the Choctaw Grand Theater. A one-off stadium show with George Strait in Atlanta closes out March and his April features shows in Arizona and Texas.

The tour proper goes on throughout most of the year, starting in Allentown at the PPL Center and hanging out on the East Coast, in the Deep South and the Midwest before ending at Louisville’s KFC Yum! Center.

Tickets go on sale February 1; take a look at the tour dates below.
