Country singer Chris Young will going international next year. And while he’s played outside the US before, playing shows in the UK and Ireland as part of the CMA Songwriter Series back in 2013, this will be his first solo world tour and will be in promotion of his most recent album, A.M. Details are few, but here’s what we know for sure:
On March 11, Young will arrive in the land down under to play a show in Melbourne, followed by a performance in Sydney on March 13. No word yet on the specific venues for either. Young will play the CMC Rocks the Hunter Festival in Ipswich, England on March 14. At some point after that, although there’s no word on exactly when, he’ll play a show in Honolulu. Young will return to international stages with a two-day stint at the Gstaad Festival in Switzerland on September 11 and 12. After that, it’s a performance in London on September 14, followed by a show in Dublin on September 17 and then a run through Germany from September 19 to 22 (again, no word yet on the specific venues).
