Chromeo Tour

Canadian electropop duo Chromeo is bringing their silky-smooth grooves on the road. They’ve just announced plans for a North American tour kicking off this spring in Houston, TX at House of Blues. From there, Chromeo travels through Austin, TX; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; Boston, MA; Toronto, ON; St. Louis, MO; Richmond, VA; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; and more. These dates are in anticipation of the duo’s upcoming album, White Women, from which a bunch of tracks have already been released. The album features appearances by Toro y Moi’s Chaz Bundick, Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig, Solange Knowles, and LCD Soundsystem’s Pat Mahoney. Chromeo is made up of P-Thugg (aka Patrick Gemayel) and Dave 1 (aka Dave Macklovitch), two childhood friends who started making music together when they were only 15. Chromeo was born with their 2004 debut album, She’s in Control, which drew comparisons to 1980s pop hits like Hall & Oates. Fancy Footwork was released in 2007, and Business Casual in 2010. Chromeo is also a festival favorite act, playing gigs at Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, Fuji Rock, Lollapalooza, Coachella, Bonnaroo, and more.
