Cirque du Soleil has been titillating the masses with their acrobatic / circus show since 1984. The circus both tours and has a permanent home in Las Vegas, and features a dramatic mix of circus arts and street entertainment. One of their more recent productions, Kooza, premiered in Montreal, Quebec back in 2007. The show’s music is partly inspired by the music of India, and the title is derived from a Sanskrit word that means magical container. The show’s big “wow” factor is the use of a bataclan – a large traveling tower – which moves throughout the show and changes the performance space.
Cirque du Soleil’s Kooza is currently touring overseas. On March 1, it opens in Madrid, ES, followed by a March 16 opening in Bolbao, ES. On July 18, the last run of performances in Knokke, BE, takes place. Tickets for all three shows are on sale currently. General on-sale tickets are available in a variety of packages, including regular tickets, producer seats and VIP tickets. VIP will get you the best available seats, access to the VIP Rouge tent, and private restrooms, terrace and coat check. Regular event tickets generally range from $120-$200 dollars, and you can check them out below.
