Coheed and Cambria ‘Keep Secrets’ on Tour
It’s been over 11 years since Coheed and Cambria released their critically acclaimed In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, and they’re going on tour to celebrate. They’ll play the ealbum in its entirety with a 25-date trek that starts in Riverside, CA on September 5 at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium. Next, Coheed will head to Los Angeles, CA; Seattle, WA; Portland, OR: Denver, CO; Houston, TX; Lake Buena Vista, FL; Silver Spring, MD; Montclair, NJ; New York, NY; and Boston, MA, among others, with a final date at Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA on October 7. The tour is the most recent installation of Coheed’s albums performance series, called NEVERENDER, in which they play an entire album for their audience. Tickets for this go-around are on sale now.
Formed in Nyack, NY in 1995, Coheed and Cambria is currently made up of Claudio Sanchez, Travis Stever, Josh Eppard, and Zach Cooper. The band is known for their concept albums, each telling a different portion of a science fiction storyline dubbed The Amory Wars, written by lead singer Sanchez. It’s been transcribed into comic books and a full-length novel. Coheed has released seven studio albums and three live albums.
