This EP is a teaser for her forthcoming full-length album (also called Gypsy Heart), due out later this year. Collaborators on the album include Babyface Edmonds and Jason Reeves. To promote this sneak-attack album, Caillat is going on tour, starting off in Denver, CO at the Denver Botanic Gardens on August 27. Next, she’ll visit Glen Ellyn, IL; Northfield, OH; Portsmouth, NH; Ridgefield, CT; Huntington, NY; Atlantic City, NJ (at Harrah’s); Vienna, VA; Arcata, CA; and Thousand Oaks, CA, before finishing up in San Diego, CA at Humphrey’s on September 26. Tickets for the tour are on sale now.
Born and raised in Malibu, CA, Colbie Caillat debuted in 2007 with her album Coco. This album spawned the mega-hit singles “Bubbly” and “Realize” and soon cemented Caillat as a radio-station staple. She won a Grammy Award in 2008 for “Lucky”, a collaboration with Jason Mraz, and also picked up a Grammy in 2010 for her work on Taylor Swift’s Fearless. In 2012, she released a Christmas album, Christmas in the Sand.
