Cold War Kids Announce New Album, Single, Tour
Cold War Kids’ Nathan Willett and Matt Mause released the debut LP of their side project French Style Furs just last week, but it doesn’t mean that they’re giving up on their original band. They’ve just given word that Cold War Kids will release their fifth studio album this October—the follow-up to 2013’s Dear Miss Lonelyhearts. So far, the band has let us hear “All This Could Be Yours”, the album’s first single. To promote all of this, Cold War Kids is hitting the road. The first dates have been announced—the band will start in Boston, MA at The Sinclair on October 24, and then head to Washington, DC’s 9:30 Club; Philadelphia’s Union Transfer; Santa Ana, CA’s The Observatory; Solana Beach, CA’s Belly Up; and Santa Cruz, CA’ s The Catalyst. Don’t see your city? Don’t fret—more dates are sure to come. For ticketing and on-sale information, visit Cold War Kids’ website.
Hailing from Long Beach, CA, Cold War Kids is comprised of Nathan Willet on vocals, Dann Gallucci on guitar, Matt Maust on bass, and Matt Aveiro on drums. They’ve released four albums—2006’s Robbers & Cowards, 2008’s Loyalty to Loyalty, 2011’s Mine is Yours, and 2013’s Dear Miss Lonelyhearts.
