On The Road Again

The indie rock pioneers Cold War Kids have announced several exciting new stops in their summer and fall tour of 2013. Riding the momentum from the release of their fourth album “Dear Miss Lonelyhearts” earlier this year, fans across the country will snag a chance to hear the band’s new material live in concert. Those lucky enough to be in St. Louis, MO, on June 3 can enjoy the tour’s first show at Plush before the group moves on to several stops in the Northeast. Have no fear, left coasters- Cold War Kids head west in mid-August and again in September. With tour stops through Canada, the Southeast, and dotted throughout the Midwest, the band has become a can’t-miss group this year.

Beginning with the much-anticipated Governor’s Ball this upcoming Sunday, Cold War Kids will step onto the stage at several big events in the upcoming months. On August 17, the group will headline the Chipotle Cultivate Festival (full lineup still unreleased). Fans up North can check out the Sonic Boom Festival to see the band alongside Blink 182, Weezer and Passion Pit, among many others. On the heels of the positive reception for “Dear Miss Lonelyhearts,” die-hard fans and curious dabblers alike will be able to see the band for themselves.
