Cut Copy Tour

Australian electronic group Cut Copy just announced plans for a new album, titled Free Your Mind, to be released November 5 via Loma Vista/Modular Records. And guess what? They’re going on a world tour to promote said album! The tour starts in North America and moves through Europe, kicking off October 30 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Other stops include gigs in Oakland, California; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Madison, Wisconsin; Boston, Massachusetts; London, England; Paris, France; and Stockholm, Sweden; with a final show in Copenhagen on December 13. Supporting the North American leg of the tour is Greek electronic producer Larry Gus. Pick up tickets soon for these electronic wonders from Down Under.

Formed in 2001, Cut Copy is comprised of Dan Whitford on vocals, keyboard, and guitar; Tim Hoey on guitar and sampler; Ben Browning on bass guitar; and Mitchell Scott on drums. The group broke through to the mainstream with their second album, In Ghost Colours, which hit No. 1 in 2008 in their native Australia.
