Damien Jurado Releases Album Trailer, World Tour Schedule
Damien Jurado Tour
Seattle’s own Damien Jurado has taken an interesting approach to his newest album release. Along with the announcement of US tour dates in support of Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal Son, Jurado released a six-minute video trailer for his record which you can watch below. Meant to act as a sequel to his 2012 release, Maraqopa, Brothers and Sisters… is a 10-track album heavily influenced by metal, particularly silver, at least in the song name department. The 2014 Damien Jurado US tour dates are nestled between two lengthy stints in Europe, so it’s clear that his prolific recording habits have built his fanbase both here and abroad.

Damien Jurado‘s winter tour supports his 13th full studio album in 16 years, and that’s not counting more than a dozen EP’s, singles, and live tour-only offerings also circulating. Over time, his music has gravitated back and forth between the more familiar acoustic sounds you associate with a singer-songwriter and harder electric riffs. In addition to promotion via the Damien Jurado concerts around the world, he’s gaining some publicity as a featured artist on the new Moby album, Innocents, in a song titled “Almost Home.” Brothers and sisters, if you’ve been drawn in by one of his many albums or are interested in discovering a new artist for your personal playlist, grab a Damien Jurado concert ticket and see him live while he’s touring the US this January.
