It’s been a busy year for Grizzly Bear’s guitarist and co-lead vocalist Daniel Rossen. After closing out the band’s international tour in January, the indie rocker hit the road on his own, playing songs from his solo EP, as well as from his OTHER band Department of Eagles. He’s set to take the stage with Department of Eagles at Lincoln Hall in Chicago on September 30 and now it looks like he may just be carrying on his solo run into next year.

Rossen has just announced that he’ll be playing two shows in Australia in early 2015; the first at the Newtown Social Club in Sydney on February 12 and the second at the Northcote Social Club in Melbourne. There’s no word yet if Rossen will be playing anywhere else besides the land down under, but we’ll keep you posted on any updates. As to what this means in terms of new Grizzly Bear music, Rossen’s been pretty honest about the lack of plans for the Brooklyn band’s immediate future, saying in one interview back in April: “We don’t have a clear plan. We tend to like to let the records come together naturally.”
