Demi Lovato Announces Summer 2012 Tour Dates
The 19-year-old singer songwriter Demi Lovato has been everywhere this week, from the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine to a judge on The X Factor. She is also coming to a concert near you as she continues her summer 2012 U.S. tour. Lovato made the announcement in May via Twitter, where fans also learned she would be joined by Hot Chelle Rae and Owl City.
The bulk of her tour begins in the Northeast later this week, as she performs in New Jersey, New York, and other parts of the East Coast for June and early July before moving over to the Western USA. Concert-goers may even get a peek of her stylish new pink hair-do.

After months of speculation, it was finally announced that Demi Lovato would be joining Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid as a judge on Fox’s singing competition show, X Factor. Pop star Britney Spears will also join the cast as a new judge for the series’ second season. Former Pussy Cat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger and American Idol pioneer Paula Abdul left the show following the season finale last year. Spears reportedly signed on with X Factor for $15 million, but no figure has been released regarding Lovato.
