The legendary Diana Ross will be bringing her iconic music throughout North America this summer. The former Supreme will kick things off in the home of Motown, Detroit (Sterling Heights, to be specific) on June 13. From there, Ross will head through Cincinnati, playing on June 14, and on to a run through the Northeast — highlights include Atlantic City on June 20, New York City on June 21, Philadelphia on June 25, and Wolf Trap in Virginia on June 29. After playing the Montreal Jazz Festival on July 3 and 4, Ross will take the rest of July and all of August off, but she’ll return to the stage on September 23 at the Green Music Center at Rohnert Park, CA, followed by a show in Oakland, CA, and her final stateside performance at the Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln, CA.
Diana Ross began her career as the founder and lead vocalist for The Supremes, which was Motown’s most successful act AND the most successful American vocal group. After leaving the group in 1970, Ross embarked on a solo career, which has spawned the release of over twenty albums, a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and an Oscar Nomination for her film portrayal of Billie Holiday. In total, Ross has released over 70 hit singles and sold over 100 million records throughout her career.
