Dixie Chicks Ready To Make Nice With Canadian Tour
Dixie Chicks Tour
Country superstars Dixie Chicks are “ready to make nice,” so they’re going to the nicest place in the land: Canada. The 2013 “Long Time Gone Tour” is the Chicks‘ first Canadian tour in seven years. They’re set to play nine dates between October 26 and November 10 in cities like Vancouver, BC; Calgary, AL; Saskatoon, SK, and more. Venues haven’t been announced, but they’re sure to be coming soon. The October 31 show is a reschedule of a concert postponed from earlier this year due to flooding; ticket-holders can choose to attend that show or get a refund from Ticketmaster. Tickets go on sale Monday, August 26 through Live Nation, so mark your calendars so you can say “goodbye” to Earl!
Dixie Chicks haven’t released an album since 2006’s Taking The Long Way. During their hiatus, sisters Emily Robison and Martie Maguire have collaborated on their new band Court Yard Hounds (and released two albums), and lead singer Natalie Maines has been working on her own solo projects, the most recent produced by songwriter Ben Harper. It’s good to have the girls back together! For tickets to Dixie Chicks shows or shows from your other favorite artists, stay on SeatGeek for the latest news.
