2Pac To Tour 16 Years After He Was Murdered?
Living rappers? Where we’re going we don’t need living rappers.
Yesterday we looked at the now infamous(?) 2Pac Coachella hologram video. And now today, there are rumors circulating that Dr. Dre – the mastermind behind it all – is thinking about taking this 2Pac hologram on tour in 2012. Quite frankly, this might be what people need to remember what rap is supposed to be. There are too many soft rappers taking over an industry that they don’t belong in…I’m looking at you Drake, I mean I have heard Justin Bieber rap harder than Drake.
2Pac Hologram Tour 2012
The tour is not confirmed yet but initial rumors suggest that this could be a Dr. Dre/Snoop Dogg tour in smaller venues, of course with digital Makaveli in the house. The second speculation is that this could be a major arena tour featuring a slew of hip-hop heavyweights Eminem, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and Wiz Khalifa, reports MTV via the Wall Street Journal.
I know a lot of differing opinions are floating around about the 2Pac hologram and the idea of a tour is only going to conflagrate both sides. All I have to say about it is that Dre talked to Pac’s mom first and she is reportedly very happy with the outcome. What do you think about this all? Would you go see the Tupac Hologram on tour? Let us know in the comments below.
We’ll update you if/when this tour is confirmed and of course we’ll have you covered on concert tickets for tour.
