Earl Sweatshirt Takes Doris On The Road
Earl Sweatshirt Tour
He may be young, but he’s certainly talented, and now he’s showing his skills on tour: Earl Sweatshirt (profiled here on SeatGeek as one of the “best underground rappers you’re not listening to“) has announced plans to hit the road this fall to support Doris, his debut LP. Solo shows start on October 6 in Boston and continue through San Francisco, CA; Washington, D.C.; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Phoenix, AZ; and Las Vegas, NV, with a final show in Los Angeles on November 9 at Odd Future‘s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival. At the carnival, you’ll also find performances by Frank Ocean, Tyler The Creator, Mac Miller, and more.
Born Thebe Neruda Kgositsile, Earl Sweatshirt released his debut mixtape, Earl, at the ripe old age of 16. He was then promptly sent to a Samoan boarding school by his mother, returning only after his 18th birthday. Lucky for us, Sweatshirt is now back in the US to write, record, and tour.
