Hip-hop duo Run the Jewels have just announced that they’ll be hitting the road this summer in the lead up to the release of their new album. Rappers El-P and Killer Mike will kick the tour off with a show on July 31 at Salt Lake City’s Pioneer Park, where they’ll be supporting Wu-Tang Clan. After that, it’s on to Chicago, where they’ll play the Double Door on August 2, and then Lollapalooza on August 3. Following a show at Seattle’s Showbox on August 9, they’ll make a run through Canada — playing Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton. The guys will cross back over the border and play Portland’s MusicFest New on August 16 and then head on to Denver and Los Angeles. After a couple months off they’ll return to the stage to play the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin from November 7 to 9.

Having previous worked together in 2012, when El-P produced Killer Mike’s well-received R.A.P. Music, the two formed Run the Jewels in 2013 and released their self-tilted debut album later that year as free digital download. The collaboration earned heaps of critical praise and a sophomore album was announced in February of this year, tentatively titled Run the Jewels 2.
