Despite her own preferences to not play arena shows very often, English songstress Ellie Goulding has announced a short run of concerts in larger venues in March 2014. These new Ellie Goulding tour dates come on the heels of her sold out UK tour this coming October, as well as the success of her second album’s extended release Halcyon Days and its first new single, “Burn.” Given the popularity of both Ellie Goulding concert tickets and albums, these rare arena shows will probably sell out in no time.
This latest set of 2014 Ellie Goulding tour dates is setting up next year to be just as busy as 2013, which featured supporting roles for Bruno Mars and festivals detailed below. As more fans have been exposed to her unique range – from her somewhat raspy timbre to her high soprano and the distinctive vibrato that connects it all – Ellie Goulding live shows have provided the extra element of artistry that hooks people from all over the pop music spectrum. Though the Fall 2013 Ellie Goulding concerts have sold out, it’s not too late to catch a new twist on her show in larger venues this coming spring!
Ellie Goulding UK Tour
Ellie Goulding, singer/multi-instrumentalist of the hit song “Lights,” has announced 2013 tour dates in the UK for October. Touring in support of her sophomore release, Halcyon, Goulding will perform at seven different venues through the UK, ending at London’s Hammersmith Apollo . This tour will immediately follow her massive North American tour, where she’ll support Bruno Mars on dates through July and August.
In addition to these tours, Goulding will participate in numerous festivals throughout the summer, including Capital FMs Summertime Ball, Pinkpop, Firefly Music Festival, and Lollapalooza. It seems like Goulding can’t stop (and won’t stop) these next few months, evidenced by her ambitious lineup of shows. While her plate appears more than full, Goulding has no dates set for September. One could only hope she’ll use this time to work on more amazing collaborations, like her well-known “Lights” remix with Bassnectar.
