Ellie Goulding Returns to North America This Spring

British pop star Ellie Goulding has announced that she’ll be returning to North America in the spring of 2014, including at least 14 concerts in US cities. Supporting her repackaged album, Halcyon Days, and riding a wave of success from her 2013 tour dates opening for Bruno Mars, Goulding’s return to American soil is much anticipated and will likely be a hot ticket based on the continued success of her latest single, “Burn.” Based on the concert dates already announced, Goulding will start her US tour in New York City at Madison Square Garden March 12, move to the west coast starting April 19 in San Francisco, and wrap things up at Red Rocks in Colorado May 2.

Starting with the show in San Francisco, Goulding will be supported by a quartet of her countrymen, Rudimental. Their electronic sound will compliment Goulding’s synth-heavy style featured on hits such as “Anything Could Happen” and “I Need Your Love.” This fall, Goulding also released a video for the film About Time titled “How Long Will I Love You?” and it’s been announced that the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will feature the song, “Mirror.” On the heels of such a busy 2013 with new music still being released, fans look to be in for a re-energized treat when Ellie Goulding crosses the pond for a headlining tour.
