Eve Tour

“Pitbull in a skirt” and all-around badass lady rapper Eve is finally touring to promote her latest album, Lip Lock, released in May via her label From the Rib. Though the tour is a short one, the Grammy Award winner and newly-moved London resident hits many of the major markets in the United States, including New York City, Los Angeles, Detroit, and Washington, D.C. (but not her hometown of Philadelphia – oops!). No word on yet on who is opening the tour or what she’s playing, but we hope that there’s some Ruff Ryders-era “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” and “Who’s That Girl” involved.

Lip Lock is Eve‘s first major music project since Eve-Olution, released in 2002 (good things come to those who wait!). The album’s official lead single, “Make It Out This Town” features Cobra Starship lead singer Gabe Saporta, and other collaborators on the disc include Chrisette Michele, Dawn Richards, Snoop, and Missy Elliott.
