Tour Dates Announced for ‘An Evening with Steve Miller Band’

We were all impressed when Alabama announced their 50th anniversary tour, subtly flexing that they’ve managed to keep the band together for a half-century. But the group behind “Jungle Love” has all that plus one. In their 51st year as a band, the Steve Miller Band are hitting the road for short tour across the Southeast.

The band celebrated their 50th year with a blowout tour in 2018, so this year’s run will be an intimate and relaxed affair that never travels above the Mason-Dixon line. An Evening with Steve Miller Band runs from the middle of March to the end of March, stopping in Florida, South Carolina, Alabama and Mississippi. The tour kicks off on March 12 in Clearwater, FL, at the Ruth Eckerd Hall and wraps up on March 24 at the Bank Plus Amphitheater in Southaven, MS.

They are the only act of the night, choosing to perform without an opener. Fans can get right to tracks like “Fly Like An Eagle” and “The Joker” in smaller settings than their recent tour with Peter Frampton.
